CACO COMMUNITY CAMPING ACTIVITIES

We have a weekend full of fun activities planned including a state-of-the-art archery complex, ecology and outdoor learning opportunities, and private beach access. At Lake Chamberlain, a private lake at Camp Meriwether, we also have swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing activities, and much more!

During the evenings, DJ Sambo will be blessing our eardrums with Khmer music, karaoke, and romvong in the Discovery Lodge. On Saturday evening, there will be a community potluck, raffle prizes, community announcements, and a late-night coconut fruit dessert snack around midnight.

There will also be several planned excursions, including a nature walk/hike around Camp Meriwether, surf perch fishing and mole crabbing on the beach, nightly bonfires, stargazing outings, and more!

• 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM: CACO Fundraising Booth - $5 sugarcane juice, Thai tea, lemonade

    • Archery, Axe-Throwing, Basket Weaving, Camp Craft Education, Metalsmithing, Ecology Classes, etc.  (9AM-12PM)
